1.All work you submit for an assessment must be authentic, i.e. it must be your own work.

2. You are not permitted to copy the work or ideas of another person and submit it as your own work in order to fulfil the requirements for achieving a standard.

3. You are not permitted to allow another student to copy all or part of your submission even when working in groups.

4. It is your responsibility to prove the authenticity of your work if it is questioned.

5. If you include a quote it must clearly be a quote and must be referenced.

6. Submissions that are plagiarised will be referred to the Principal’s Nominee.

7. Submissions that are plagiarised will be assessed as Not Achieved and you may incur additional sanctions.

8. You may be required to sign an authenticity declaration and/or submit your work electronically through ‘Turnitin’ and/or sit in a particular place and/or provide your preparatory notes (sketches etc) to establish authenticity.
