Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Donna Hobbs.
Students will study a range of topics from the Geography, History and Social Studies areas including; the study of urban pattern, contemporary geographic issues, inquiry and research into a significant historical event, Auckland based fieldwork research and social actions taken by communities to meet responsibilities.
Prerequisites
For students who do not qualify for entry into L2 Geography (12GE1) or L2 History (12HI1)
AND have at least 10 credits from 11SS3 which must include one of either the NCEA Geography 1.1 or the NCEA History 1.2 standards
OR at least 10 MCEA/NCEA credits from Year 11 History (11HI1) OR year 11 Geography (11GE1) OR English (11ENE/11EN1)
OR HoF approval.
