Course Description

The study of English Literature is compulsory in Year 11.
11ENE Students will:
- Be offered a rich study of literature and language from the canon and modern literature
- Focus on achievement with excellence in a wide range of disciplines and prepare to achieve Excellence at Level Two
- Develop critical thinking skills and learn to apply these to unfamiliar contexts.
- Become familiar with the conventions of a genre and show a developed understanding of the link between genre and society.

Merit or Excellence grades across all Year 10 assessments.
