Course Description

The study of English literature is compulsory in Year 11. 

11EN1 Students will:

  • Be offered a rich study of written and visual texts to enhance achievement at Year 11 MCEA
  • Develop their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
  • Prepare for academic success in English at Level Two by aiming for Merit and Excellence
  • Develop skills in critical thinking and apply these to unfamiliar contexts


Prerequisites

This compulsory course requires students to have completed the Year 10 English course.
