Prerequisites

At least 15 credits in Level 2 Health (12HE1 or 12HE2) ‘Achieved’ or better in AS91235 (External)

Students will:
  • Analyse and evaluate health issues, contemporary ethical issues, health practices and health promotion within New Zealand and internationally
  • Study topics include methamphetamine use, western and CAM health practices, international health issues such as poverty and HIV, ethical issues such as euthanasia, and current health promotion in our community.
  • Need to have sound written English skills.
  • Complete three internals and one external, totalling 19 credits.
